Preparing for your appointment

Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete any necessary forms and ease into your self-care moment. Complimentary parking is available for your convenience.

Yes. Please arrive with a clean, makeup-free face—including mascara. This allows us to spend your full appointment time on personalized care. If you are unable to remove it beforehand, I can do so, but it will reduce your treatment time.

Yes! For the most personalized experience, bring a list or photos of your current skincare products. I'll use this during your consultation to fine-tune your home care and ensure your routine aligns with your skin’s evolving needs.

Choose comfortable, easy-to-remove clothing. A designated space is provided to store your belongings. Since all jewelry must be removed for your facial, I recommend leaving delicate items at home.

For your comfort, I suggest wearing glasses instead, as certain treatments may cause irritation or require eye protection.

Your hair may get damp due to warm towels and massage near the hairline with oils and lotions. While I do my best to protect your hair, I recommend planning accordingly if you have post-facial plans.

To ensure a safe and seamless experience, consent forms must be completed prior to your appointment. These forms will be emailed to you upon booking.

Some forms are required only before your first visit, while others may be needed before every appointment. Additionally, you may receive treatment-specific forms depending on the service you're scheduled for.

Taking just 5–10 minutes to complete these forms in advance helps us start your treatment on time and allows us to deliver the highest level of care tailored to your needs. Thank you for helping us create a smooth and thoughtful experience from the very start.

In the treatment room

Yes! Periidot is located on the ground level with an accessible parking space available right outside the front door. The treatment table lowers close to the floor, and a step stool is available for added ease. Please note that, for liability reasons, I’m unable to physically assist clients on or off the table. If you’d like a hand, feel free to bring a friend to help with pick-up and drop-off (they are welcome to stay and relax in the waiting room during your treatment)—I'll make sure everything else is taken care of so you can relax and enjoy your treatment.

Most of my offerings are safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding. I take time to understand your goals and health history in our consultation, and customize accordingly. However, I require a medical release if you are over 20 weeks pregnant, confirming you can lie on your back for the duration of the session.

Yes. While you may have a specific service in mind, as your esthetician, I may recommend a different approach based on your skin consultation and analysis. Trust that all recommendations are made with your skin’s long-term health and radiance in mind.

Skincare Preparation & Contraindications

Yes. Please reschedule if you are experiencing:

  • A cold sore or open lesion
  • Cold/flu symptoms, persistent cough, or allergic reaction
  • Sunburn (even minor)


Please avoid the following prior to your facial:

  • Retinol, exfoliating acids, benzoyl peroxide: 3–5 days
  • Waxing or depilatories: 3 days
  • Facial laser treatments: 2 weeks
  • Isotretinoin (Accutane): must be stopped atleast 6 months prior
  • Prescription topical medications: 2 weeks prior
  • Injectables (Botox/fillers): 2 weeks prior, or as instructed by your physician
  • Extensive sun exposure (including tanning beds: 1 week prior

Aftercare & Post-Treatment Support

Following aftercare ensures your skin heals properly and enhances your results. You will receive customized post-care instructions after your treatment, but general recommendations include:

• Stay hydrated—drink plenty of water

• Eat a nourishing, whole-food meal to support skin regeneration

• Clean makeup brushes and change pillowcase promptly after treatment

• Aim for restful sleep (before 10 PM, if possible)

• Avoid makeup application

• Use gentle, hydrating skincare for 3-5 days post treatment

• Follow the recommended homecare regimen for best results

• Limit sun exposure and apply SPF 30+ daily

• Avoid strenuous exercise, excessive sweating, saunas, + hot showers for 24hrs

• Do not scrub, pick, or rub the skin

• Avoid waxing or depilatories in the treated area for 1 week

• Avoid active and exfoliating ingredients for 1 week

• Avoid other facial treatments that are not advised by your esthetician

Commitment & Respect

To honor the time and care dedicated to each appointment, 48-hour notice is kindly requested for all cancellations and reschedules.

  • Any cancellation or reschedule made less than 48 hours before the appointment will be charged the full service cost.
  • No-shows will be charged the full service cost + 20% gratuity.

At Periidot, we maintain a space of respect, safety, and inclusivity. We welcome all individuals and expect every guest to treat our team and community with kindness. Inappropriate behavior, repeated cancellations, or failure to follow our guidelines may result in refusal of service.

By subscribing to a Monthly Ritual Membership, you receive 20% a Ritual of choice each month for your commitment. A few details:

  • Receive 20% off one service per month
  • Receive 15% off one retail purchase per month
  • Customer is responsible for booking their service each month through the Periidot booking site
  • A credit card will be required upon booking to hold your appointment each month
  • 30-day notice is required to cancel your subscription and to stop the auto payment
  • Benefits are non-transferable
  • No monthly roll-overs
  • All of Periidot's policies apply
  • No stacking discounts/promotions

Yes! You’re welcome to shop our entire selection of high-integrity skincare at Periidot.com. Since the studio is currently open by appointment only, all orders will be lovingly packed and shipped directly to you with care.
